Surrounded
Surrounded
with sea of self-
creation
Water-
falls
of
tapestries
flow from my
fingers
rushing
down
the
walls
of my captivity
splashing to shape the earth
beneath
in ripples
and waves
with sea of self-
creation
Water-
falls
of
tapestries
flow from my
fingers
rushing
down
the
walls
of my captivity
splashing to shape the earth
beneath
in ripples
and waves

I wrote this poem as an assignment for a poetry class. We were supposed to use a piece of art as inspiration. I chose "Bordando el Manto Terrestre" by Remedios Varo.
