My Friend

I lost my friend,
And then
I found them
later.
But they weren't
my friend.

Raindrop

Plit!

A
bulbous
globe of shifting
glass plunges, warping
the world on the other
side — forgotten amidst
the rush of millions
just like it

Angel

Misting shallows silent stay
ghost flees the day

Facelessphantomhidesbehind
mask of beauty white

Silence...the angel sings
not of the light

The Moon Exists for Love

Its
beams
reaching
down,
giving a smile to a frown.
Distanced eyes meet above.
The moon exists for love.

The Sound of Peace

Peace
still water glistening
diamonds catching sunlight
flinging it towards me
raindrops settling softly
leaves shushing each other
dancing with the sun

shhh...listen...
can you hear it?

Clouds

Not unlike spokes of a wheel, shafts
of golden life poke
into and through snow-white cotton.
Pink and purple and blue
bend and bend and flow
into and between snow-white cotton.
Cheeps and chirps and screeches
flap, dart, soar
just below and in snow-white cotton.
Branches, gnarled and slender,
stretch and reach for,
yearn to feel snow-white cotton.
Groggy eyes flicker and squint.
The sun - it's rising.
