Missing
I turn over
and reach for you.
I place my arm
around
you
andpullyouclose.
Your warmth is strangely
missing.
I open my eyes
and see only the pillow
nexttome
and feel only its coolness
againstmycheek.
I close my eyes
and trace a lonely tear
down
my
face
and try to sleep.
and reach for you.
I place my arm
around
you
andpullyouclose.
Your warmth is strangely
missing.
I open my eyes
and see only the pillow
nexttome
and feel only its coolness
againstmycheek.
I close my eyes
and trace a lonely tear
down
my
face
and try to sleep.
